SAYING YES!
ONE HOME AT A TIME

Dear Supporters,

As we reflect on nearly seven years of this important work, certain things stand out.

  • The more than 1,800 homes we’ve furnished.

  • The close to 4,000 clients we’ve served.

  • The 2,000 children who now fall asleep in their own beds instead of on the floor.

  • The thousands of tons of furniture and household goods we’ve collected—once bound for the waste stream—now given a second life in homes where they bring warmth, dignity, and belonging.

  • The incredible 50+ social service community partners that we work with.

  • And the incredible 100,000+ volunteer hours that have fueled it all.

All of this happens within the 35,000 square feet of storage and staging space we’re fortunate to “rent” (for just $1 a year) from Trinity Health, a partnership that makes our work possible every single day.

But numbers only tell part of the story.

The real story is about people who’ve faced enormous challenges and are taking their first steps toward stability and home.

SAYING YES

When a partner agency calls and says, “The client just got their keys—can you help?,” there is really only one answer:

  • Yes, to the single mom finally moving from a shelter to her own apartment with her three kids.

  • Yes, to the veteran, once in transitional housing, now resting in his own recliner.

  • Yes, to the young adult aging out of foster care who finally has a safe, welcoming place to call home.

And this year, saying yes has also meant responding to special requests from our community partners, including helping several agencies furnish temporary shelter houses.

STRENGTHENING OUR FOUNDATION

This year, we took an important step forward as an organization. After years of running entirely on volunteer power, we hired a Volunteer Coordinator and an Operations Manager, two roles that strengthen our foundation and help us say yesto even more families.

And what does all this mean for the people who believe in our mission?

It means we need you more than ever.

YOU CAN HELP

We’ve built something remarkable together. But to sustain our growing commitments to the community, we need your help. Our goal this December is to raise $200,000, nearly half of what it takes each year to continue saying yes to every family who needs us.

$30,000 MATCHING FUNDS

This year, every new donation—or any increase over your previous gift—will be matched, up to $30,000, thanks to generous supporters who believe deeply in this mission.

Your gift today will help us furnish more homes, support more people, and continue to say YES, even as the need grows.

(Share widely so we can meet our goal!)

Each week, we witness the moment a client opens the door to a space that finally feels like home. A child runs to find their bed, stuffed animal waiting on bedding in their favorite color. A mother exhales and says, “I can finally rest.” In those quiet moments of relief and joy, healing begins.

With gratitude,
